SpecialtyRx is proud to announce the opening of our newest regional pharmacy in Roanoke, Virginia, marking another important step in our continued national growth.

The new 11,000-square-foot pharmacy strengthens our ability to provide fast, dependable, and locally supported long-term care pharmacy services across Virginia and West Virginia. Its strategic location also positions SpecialtyRx for future growth throughout North Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky.

As our 15th regional pharmacy, the Roanoke location will initially support approximately 1,500 patients, with the capacity to serve more than 10,000 as operations expand. Facility partners will benefit from 24/7 pharmacist availability, emergency STAT medication delivery, same-day IV services, and technology designed to improve visibility and communication throughout the medication process.

More than an expansion, this opening represents our continued investment in the healthcare providers, care teams, residents, and communities we serve. By establishing a stronger local presence, SpecialtyRx can respond more quickly, collaborate more closely with facility partners, and bring high-quality pharmacy care closer to the patients who depend on it.

The new pharmacy will be celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 29, 2026.
